Total Guaranteed Package: R 1,206,476.25 - R 1,621,830.00
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (NQF 7) in Public Administration, Management, Monitoring and Evaluation or Equivalent.
- 8 year’s of experience inclusive of developing, implementing and evaluating strategy
- At least 4 year’s experience on end-to-end development of strategic, corporate plans in the public sector environment.
- At least 4 years' experience implementation of the M&E framework and monitoring of the organisational performance.
- Valid unendorsed driver's licence
Added Advantage:
- Honours Degree (NQF 8) in Business Administration or Monitoring and Evaluation or Equivalent majoring in Strategy/ Monitoring and Evaluation.
Key Outputs:
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the appointee will:
- Oversee the development of Amatola Water’s strategy, corporate scorecard, and business plan, as well as monitor and report on strategy execution and implementation.
- Develop and manage Corporate Performance Information Management Frameworks and Reporting, including an Integrated Annual Report.
- Coordinate the Internal Audit function and contribute to improved Governance.
- Represent the CEO as required and support the CEO to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead special projects, cross-functional and strategic in nature, from the office of the CEO.
- Manage and oversee the Stakeholder Management function.
- Management of subordinates in order to ensure that the Office of the CEO section meets obligations and provides opportunities for self-development for the individual.
Other Requirements:
- Financial knowledge and experience with forecasting, financial models and interpreting financial information
- Understanding of Best Governance practices, including King IV and integrated reporting as well as PFMA, treasury regulations
- Understands macroeconomics and can assess trends and relevance
- Understanding of the political dynamics of the province and local government, including the business community
- Understands relevant water sector policies and trends
- Strong knowledge of business principles and business acumen
- Understanding of the rollout of strategic capital infrastructure programmes
- Computer literacy is a requirement
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Excellent report writing skills
