Minimum Qualifications:
• Grade 12
• National Diploma in Built environment (Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, etc)
Minimum Experience:
• At least Two years’ experience in managing water carting programme
• At least five (5) years’ experience as a technician on engineering or building projects
Key Outputs:
Reporting to the Project Manager, the appointee will:
• Prepare Lease Agreements between AW and respective Municipalities
• Prepare Memorandums of Understanding between AW and respective Municipalities
• Facilitate the allocation of water tankers to the Municipalities
• Prepare correspondences related to the operation of water tankers to DWS
• Prepare correspondences related to the operation of water tankers to Municipalities
• Manage the releasing and returning of water tankers
• Manage licencing and road worth timeframes for water tankers
• Manage the use of the tankers
• Utilise the tracker system to determine the kilometres travelled for billing purposes
• Compile a data of each water tanker for Finance to prepare billing
• Prepare Progress Reports for AW and DWS
• Check the invoices
• Use geographical systems (x, y coordinates) to determine the exact position ofdeliverables
• Verification of work done by contractors / service providers on construction projects.
Other Requirements needed:
• Strong administrative background to maintain records and filling system
• Computer literacy
• Valid unendorsed drivers’ licence
